It was during this difficult period that Singh discovered cosplay as an outlet for stress relief and self-expression. Initially hesitant, he eventually found solace in dressing up as one of America's most iconic heroes: Captain America.

Singh explains that 'cosplay allows me to express myself without fear of judgment or discrimination because when I'm dressed up as a superhero like Captain America, nobody sees my skin color, religion, or nationality. They just see an American hero fighting for justice.'

Through his choice of character and costume design, Singh aimed to challenge preconceived notions about what it means to be Sikh-American.

'I want people to know that being Sikh doesn't mean we're terrorists; in fact, many Sikhs like myself have died serving our country,' he says. 'I hope my cosplay can help break down barriers between different communities and foster greater understanding.'
